Thirty paintings, drawings and sculptures by the three leading British modernists of the 20th century dating from 1936, when they were part of the young, radical, creative hub based in London's Hampstead, to 1974, just before Hepworth's death. Encyclopaedic in scope, the show features Nicholson's early abstract paintings inspired by Mondrian together with his later, carved reliefs; Moore 's war time shelter drawings and small scale family groups and reclining figures; and Hepworth's wide range of work from painting, carved marble, cast bronze and cut metal.
