TULI LITVAK : Using the translucent garage curtain as a projection surface for a short film. The mechanics disused dark entrance is illuminated once more. The curtain will serve both its original purpose as a temporal divide between an inside and outside as well as a screen for a short film which will further explore that notion. A short performance will disrupt the projection occasionally.

'…then X rode away at the same jerky trot. And nothing could arrest X's slow progress. If the lantern were moved I could still distinguish X's horse advancing across the window-curtains, swelling out with their curves and diving into their folds. The body of X, being of the same supernatural substance as the steed's, overcame every material obstacle—everything that seemed to bar X's way—by taking it as an ossature and absorbing it into X's self… X floated invincibly—would never betray the least concern at this transvertebration. Joshua Yates : Takes the everyday signifiers of temporary redirection and safety, inverting their operation as a utilitarian object. The reflective strips of traffic cones are used repetitively to form an undulating mural, that does not wish to avert one's gaze or even create separation from its surroundings. It hugs the contours of a disused mechanics; the audience activates sparks of life that illuminate the cavernous space. Out of this darkness, the mural replies echoing the light back and inviting you to see its other facets.
