Pi Artworks London is proud to present Cyprus Realism, the first solo exhibition by British, Turkish-Cypriot artist Mustafa Hulusi at our London gallery. The show will take place from Thursday 11 April  Saturday to May 2019 and is about making visual the socio-economic stasis of the present yet whilst retaining a yet-to-come temporal vision. It amalgamates the subjective, objective, universal and cosmic. Using a nostalgia for craft-based technologies, such as cathode-ray televisions, handmade ceramics, neon lighting and oil painting - it attempts to resolve the dialectical problem of where responsibility and authority is leading us. It also warns us that all technologies and strategies will inevitably be co-opted.
