Go With The Flow/Swim Against The Tide

This exhibition presents contemporary artworks that explore the power and economy of language to explain, coerce and subvert.

Bringing together major international and emerging artists working in text-based practices, this exhibition casts a wider view across language in its various forms, including symbols, glyphs and emoticons, to address and action social change.

The exhibition includes new works by Claire Undy and Theo Turpin, and a new, site-specific wall painting by Mark Titchner made especially for the gallery. A new publication including an artwork by Tim Etchells will accompany the exhibition.
