65-67 Ridley Road
A photographic exhibition by Ruth McMillan and Sandra Griskeviciute who work, live and think their practice simultaneously together and separately. They are part of a new generation going against the pixel, working with old cameras purchased on ebay, car boot sales or handed down from Granny after she’s gone digital.
There is no guarantee of success in the process, this element of risk adds to the fun and enhances the emotional value of each photograph. Occasionally a dog barks. They follow it and the work starts from there. The pictures are the result of this psychogeographic walkabout.
Preview evening on Wednesday 17th April, 6-9pm
