In and Between explores the unravelling and reimagining of bodies, environments and ideas. The imagery is often surreal and humorous yet simultaneously there is a sensibility and intimacy, like we as the viewer are being let in on a strange secret. Supported by Arts Council England, this exhibition brings together four female artists united in their exploration of the body and its possibilities. This exploration is conducted through a playful use of material whether that be painting, drawing or textiles based tuftings. Dreamscapes are used to interrogate the boundaries between the body and its environment.
