We live in a world of bots that allusively infiltrate our online lives; from social bots to surveillance bots, joke bots to news bots.

Discover how computers are getting better at thinking like us and how they are exposing the cracks in the inner workings of the internet. Explore bot behaviour and the creative side of these computer programmes through showcases, installations, and performances from artists, gamers, developers, theorists and activists, including an opportunity to get hands-on with bot inventions and prototypes as they are being created.

Forming part of The Art of Bots is a Disruption Network Lab (Fri 15 Apr 13.00 - 17.00, £5 / £7), a series of talks and debates, which focus on the 'darker' side of bot usage curated by Tatiana Bazzichelli.
